SpiritsOS can ask for permission to notify you about new messages and activity. Device notifications and the in-app Notifications list are separate controls.
Choose notification access
- When you see Stay connected with your Spirits, choose Enable notifications if you want device alerts.
- Respond to the system permission prompt.
- Choose Not now on the app’s invitation if you prefer to continue without enabling alerts.
If the app opens your device settings, enable notifications there and return to SpiritsOS.
Change permission later
Open your device settings, find SpiritsOS, and review its notification permission. On iOS this is managed through the system’s notification settings; on Android it is managed through the app’s notification settings. Exact system labels vary by OS version and device manufacturer.
Check activity inside the app
On the feed, tap the bell to open Notifications. No Notifications means the list currently has no entries to show.
If alerts are missing
Check the device permission first, along with any system focus or notification-silencing setting you use. Notifications also need connectivity.
