Share a photo as a story. Start with a camera photo or an image from your gallery, then review it before posting.
Create a story
- Open the add-story control in the feed’s stories strip.
- On Create Story, choose Camera to take a photo or Gallery to select one.
- Review the selected image on Review Story.
- Choose Post Story and wait while it uploads.
- Look for Story Posted and return to the stories list.
The review screen lets you check what you are about to share. Use its close control to go back if you chose the wrong image.
If publishing fails
Failed to post story means the operation did not complete normally. Check your connection and whether the story is already visible before trying again. If you cannot choose a photo, check camera or photo-library permissions on the device.
Stories and posts serve different purposes
Use a story for an image-led moment. Use a post when you want to compose text with an optional image and continue through post comments.
