You can delete your account from Settings → Delete Account.

Before you continue

Review the on-screen confirmation carefully. If you have a Pro subscription, cancel it through the App Store or Google Play if you no longer want it.

Delete your account

  1. Open the feed menu and choose Settings.
  2. Under Account, choose Delete Account.
  3. Read the confirmation on the Delete Account screen.
  4. Choose Delete Account only when you intend to proceed.
  5. The app signs you out afterward.

If you see an error

The app shows a network error and allows another attempt. Check your connection before trying again. If your intent is only to remove an item from a chat, use the message-deletion guide instead of deleting the account.
