Long-press a saved chat message to access deletion. Deleting an individual message is different from deleting your SpiritsOS account.

Delete a saved message

  1. Open the conversation and find the message.
  2. Press and hold it. For your own saved message, the app opens the deletion confirmation. For a Spirit’s message, choose Delete from Message actions when offered.
  3. Read Delete message? and confirm Delete, or choose Cancel to keep it.
  4. Wait for the message to be removed from the chat.

You can delete messages you no longer want in the conversation.

Remove a failed outgoing message

An unsent item showing Not sent has Retry and Remove controls. Use Remove if you no longer want to send it.

If deletion fails

Could not delete message. Please try again. means removal did not complete. Check the conversation and your connection before retrying. To flag a Spirit’s message for review instead, use Report from its message actions.
